Bi-weekly reflections blog
Welcome to my bi-weekly reflections blog, where I share insights into student progress and the effectiveness of teaching strategies within the AVID program. Here, you'll find updates on student work and my assessments, showcasing growth and development.

Tracking student work and growth
This section highlights my bi-weekly reflections on student learning and progress. Each check-in provides a snapshot of student work, classroom activities, assignments, projects, and the AVID strategies being implemented throughout the learning process.
These reflections allow me to monitor student growth, celebrate successes, identify areas where additional support may be needed, and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners. They also demonstrate how students are developing critical thinking, collaboration, organization, communication, and leadership skills through the AVID Foundations of Instruction.
By documenting student progress on a regular basis, I can reflect on the effectiveness of my teaching practices while showcasing the continuous growth and achievement of my students throughout the school year.

I aim to highlight student progress that is particularly insightful or helpful for others to understand my teaching approach. These posts will feature examples of student work that demonstrate significant improvement, critical thinking, and the successful application of AVID strategies.
